Bahrain starting grid

Posted by Mike F1 under Uncategorized

The wait is over and the race is on and today qualifying session was a thrill. Powerful teams and best drivers gave their best today on Bahrain, Vettel started his qualifying session with one thing in his mind and that was the pole, Ferrari needed to confirm once more that they are on the right track, McLaren with their little aerodynamic innovation did not achieved much as for Schumacher i would say that he had a poor qualifying session and some will try and sell excuses but let’s be honest a bit here, competition has changed younger faster drivers are on track with better cars and the will to win, best example is his team mate young Niko who already said that he wants to beat Schumacher and o boy he did, at least for now.

My guess is that we are going to have a great championship this year with lost of drivers and teams that can win a race and the championship and the new scoring method will help too, at least in my opinion, with this said i’ll give you the top 10 starting positions and invite you all tomorrow to see a fantastic race here in Bahrain, and to vote in our new poll. Ready, set go… :)

Posted by Mike F1 under Uncategorized

Less then 24h guys until friday practice in Bahrain will start, and we will have four (4) world champions on track, two of them team-mates at McLaren (Button and Hamilton) one racing for Ferrari  (Alonso) and of course the man with most titles racing for the brand new team Mercedes GP team (Schumacher). Today i woke up full with energy and with a worm feeling in my hearth even that last night some snow managed it’s way down to the ground and it’s covering most of the landscape, and to complete the greatness of this morning my girlfriend decided to make me a nice surprise for breakfast and indeed it was, as celebration for upcoming new Formula1 season and the first race of Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix because there can be no race watching and enjoying on an empty stomach, so because an image is worth a thousand words here it is:

Sauber and BMW have made a good impression today since Kamui Kobayashi has made almost 100 laps today and frankly after the fiasco that this team presented in last championship they are in need for a good car, and it seems that they are finally getting there since Kobayashi finished this day in front of Lewis Hamilton who tested his brand new MP4-25. Barrichello (Williams),  Kubica (Renault) and  Buemi (Toro Rosso) have also burn some rubber today and the Brazilian from William managed to stay of the troubles today. I guess we are all going to see tomorrow at 5 pm GMT+1. This being said i am going to present you the today performances and welcome you all tomorrow for some new infos. Cheers.

I kwon that this is kinda old news but i think is fun. So this is why i invite you all to share with us this kind of experiences. So without saying anything else here is the wonder:

Red Bull – Ready for revenge

Well guys is clear now the Red Bull car is finally  done and it will be presented on 10th of  February on the Circuito de Jerez Spain. Vettel and Webber will dresup for test on this day and finally they will get to see how the new creation of the brilliant Adrian Newey will perform on the track.

Exactly as the last year they are the last team to present their car and if i remember correctly many of their innovations were adapted later on by many team on their respective cars, but as much as i hoped to see them in action in Valencia it seems that is not going to happen. Well not for the first round anyway, if this car will be as good as the one from last year, and since Mercedes GP will use the same car as Brawn did in last season maybe with a few tweaks, i think this season will be very exiting to watch. Many bets will be placed and i’m confident that Ferrari car will be a lot more competitive as for the McLaren too.

The German F1 Team

Posted by Mike F1 under Uncategorized

Today Mercedes GP finally presented their car for the 2010 Formula 1 Season.  Michael Schumacher is definitely back in the game with only one thing in his mind: winning the 8th world title for himself and the second the team as well. As for his teammate i am pretty sure that if there will be no orders from inside the team about who is the first and second pilot he we’ll do his best to beat Schumacher. Here is a little interview with Michael, Niko and the big names form Brawn, Mercedes GP Team. So i think the team has high hopes for this season and the future ones since as backup / test driver they hired Nick Heidfeld the pilot with the most races finished in the past 2 seasons. Surely his experience will be a great benefit for the team. I was just wondering what you guys are thinking about this “German F1 Dream Team” and everything related with Schumacher’s come back.
The Mercedes GP Car and The Team

As a funny thing related to the story Michael Schumacher’s number of the car supposed to be 4 (four) but because he said that he’s very superstitious he convinced younger team mate Niko to switch numbers, but my guess is that he just could not accept the smaller number on his team mate car, something like admitting that he is better that him, but hey this is just a wild guess. Hope to see you all around here. Stay tunned for more news and interviews with our actors. Keep safe.
