China, 2nd Friday practice session is now over, The things worth mentioning about this session are that Nick managed to crash once more and brake another nose for his car, but he was man enough to admit that both crashes were his driving mistakes: "It was a driving mistake. I went off twice and that can happen – I just went over the limit," said Nick Heidfeld. "I was in a very good mood until I crashed into the tyre. I have been around for a while but I cannot remember crashing twice in one day, so that was not a good start."

But on a positive note Renault shown a huge speed potential both him and his team mate Vitally Petrof were the fastest drivers out there in terms of pure speed. Heidfeld added: "I was quite positive about it after P1 because I did two timed lap and I ended up in P5, unfortunately in the second session it didn’t look quite as good. I did a few more laps and ended up in 8th position. There was a gap to some of the cars in front which I would have liked to have been a bit smaller. I am convinced that there is more to come from us because I went out after I crashed, took it a bit easy in the first two or three corners, but saying that most of the others will also tell you that this lap was not perfect, there is more to come, so let’s see tomorrow."
