south-korea-f1-track-in-jeo Nico Rosberg said yesterday that he has concerns about Korean circuit in particularly about that tarmac and soon after him Nick Heidfeld has raised similar concerns over the track surface as it will be oily.

But here is what they had to say:

At the moment hardly anyone knows exactly what to expect on site. I am very curious to see the track and the facilities.

From a driver’s perspective the most important thing is that the tarmac lasts. If the final layer is laid a short time before, it is generally understood it can be oily which, of course, would be extremely problematic.

But I can only give any informed information about the quality and lay-out of the track once I have driven there. Generally I welcome new venues because they provide a special driving challenge, and for a World Championship it is positive to race in as many countries as possible.

and Nico has this to say about it:

It will be an exciting challenge to race at the new Korean circuit. It looks great from the pictures that we have seen recently and I hope that the asphalt holds up as it has only been put down very recently.

It is always interesting to learn a new circuit and generally I get up to speed quickly so I’m looking forward to the weekend.
Nico Rosberg

well I guess all what we can do is wait and watch the closely how the events will unfold before us.
