Pat Fry to join Ferrari’s technical line-up

Ferrari announced on Tuesday that Pat Fry will join their technical department. Fry, who left McLaren a few months ago, will take up the new role of assistant technical director at the Italian team next month. He will report directly to Ferrari technical director Aldo Costa.

Fry had been at McLaren for 18 years and had previously worked at Benetton. Aside from his addition to the Italian outfit’s line-up, the current structure of Ferrari’s technical department will remain unchanged.

The 46 year-old will start work at Maranello next week on July 1.
