Lately Mercedes boss Ross Brawn has asked for faith from Nico Rosberg – faith that the team will get their game together, enabling Rosberg to finally deliver his first Grand Prix victory. On Friday morning in Valencia it didn’t look as though that’s likely to happen this weekend. But as we saw in Montreal, a driver can be last and still win the race, so nowadays anything is possible in F1 – and that is why the fans love this season. Hopefully the young German will soon have reason to love it too
