After a thrilling qualifying session for the Spanish Grand Prix the Mercedes did it again and stole the pole.

The Silver Arrows were mighty over one lap and both drivers Nico and Lewis were able to go below 1:21.0s being the only cars out there to do that. Vettel managed to push his RB9 as close as possible to them and got the P3 while Kimi confirmed that Lotus enjoys warm temperatures and got P4 while the local favourite Fernando Alonso had to settle for P5.
